Burning can fest at the lyons outdoor games started many years ago as a kayaking event, the lyons whitewater festival. it has since evolved into a massive festival of outdoor adventure, beer, and music! True to the event's heritage, white water lovers can rejoice.

8:00 pm:  Online Registration closes.

Saturday

7:00 am - 9:00 am:  Bib pick up and waiver signing at the race course.

9:00 - 9:30 AM: Mandatory racer meeting.

9:30 am: Demo Runs

10:00 am: Start of First Race Runs

-Second race runs will follow immediately after first runs

1:00 pm: Awards

• The Slalom race will run from 10:00 am until 1:00  with the second run following immediately after the first run.
• There will be an Open division which anyone can register for and an 18 and under division.  Within each of those divisions there will be four boat classes: K1M, K1W, C1M, C1W.
• A minimum of four racers is required to have a class otherwise classes will be combined until there are at least four racers.
• A racer can sign up for a maximum of two classes at $35.00 per entry.
• online registration closes by 8:00 pm Friday evening.  
• There is no check in prior to Saturday morning.
• Racers must be current members of the ACA and know their ACA number.
• Racers can sign waivers and pick up bibs the morning of the race between 7:00 and 9:00 am in Laverne Park
• The total purse is $1000 which will be split across the Open classes.
• merchandise awards will be awarded to top 3 racers in the 18 and Under boat classes.  We need to be able to award 1st, 2nd and 3rd in four classes (K1M, K1W, C1M, C1W) for a total of 12 awards.
