MTB GRoup Ride

Pisgah Cycling and REEB Cycles host a MTB REEB romp group ride through DuPont State Forest straight from the REEB Ranch. Bring yr rig to the festival and meet up at the camping entrance at 9 a.m. on July 22. You’ll be back in time for the festival.

Road Bike Group Ride

Pisgah Cycling helps us with this group ride through some of the best road biking in Western North Carolina. Meet up at the camping entrance at 9 a.m. to jump in.

Trail Running

The legendary Wild Bill will lead a trail run for Burning CAN attendees leaving from and returning to the festival property. Bill will meet you at in front of the barn at 9 a.m. for a run through the REEB Ranch trails and maybe even a jaunt into DuPont State Forest.

Heavy drinking requires a strong core and stretchy pants. We gotchew. At 9:30 a.m., a local yoga instructor will help you greet the day of drinking with some poses to allow for maximum consumption…or at least maximum relaxation. Meet in front of the Burning CAN stage!

Bring yr boat. A paddle trip down the third-most ancient river in the world (seriously, look it up), the French Broad, will meet at the BREWERY (not the ranch – 342 Mountain Industrial Dr. Brevard, NC 28712) at 8:30 a.m. sign up here!

Bike Park

Dirt Jumping and ripping berms more your style? The REEB and cane creek crews will have the REEB Ranch Bike park open during burning can including dirt jumps, flow lines, dual slalom, skills areas and trials course. Hours: Friday 3-6 pm and Saturday 9-6 pm

ladies mTB Ride

badass lady shredder shanna powell from endless bike company will lead this women-specific mountain bike ride into dupont. meet up at the camping entrance at 9 am. Shana will be the one with ears on her lid.

Bike skills/clinics

Oskar Blues sponsored rider Jeff Lenosky, a world class professional freeride and trials mountain biker, will display serious skills and lead a pumptrack clinic at burning can. Here's his schedule:
